Madeliene and I made it to Pike's Peak on Mon. but couldn't take the Cog
Railway because it was full. Reservations were suggested-no openings for any
of the time slots.
We then traveled to the Garden of the Gods. On our way back traffic was
slowed to 5 miles an hour on I25.
We returned the car and took the shuttle to the Embassy Estates
Hotel(free rm with my points) Madeliene's cousin picked us up and took us to
his home where we had a meal of salad, manicotti, veno and dessert.Between
Magianno's and all the other great food I am afraid to get on the scale.
Got off to the airport at 8AM the next morning. Madeliene left later.
We both arrived safely to our destinations.
The reunion was wonderful.A big thank you to our hosts and hostesses
for all their work and planning. Jim and Elaine- Lou and Ron a very big
Gratias.
Laura and Ray,thank you for the cannolis they were great.
It was great meeting old friends and making new ones.
                   Rose
