Nell,
It probably was spelled Lamantia. I believe this obit came from the
Cleveland Public Library database. If it did, there were often misspellings
because the scanning software they used on the Cleveland Plain Dealer
microfiche, would occasionally confuse letters. Misspellings are common in
the CP Library Necrology File.
I believe this Saverio Sanson was the cousin of my Joe Sanson (Fillipo
Sansone) who was also in the produce business in Cleveland. They worked
together and there is a Teriaca still working for my cousin Jeff at Sanson's
at the Northern Ohio Food Terminal.

I noticed Rose Lamontia. I never saw that name (Lamontia) before and
wondered if perhaps it was Lamantia not spelled correctly.

Mrs. Saverio Sanson
Mrs. Angela Sanson died late Saturday at her home, 2869 Berkshire Road,
Cleveland Heights.
The former Angela Parrino, she was the wife of Saverio Sanson, for many
years head of S. Sanson & Sons wholesale produce merchants. She was born 71
years ago in Termini, Italy and had been a resident here for more than 40
years.
Mrs. Sanson was an expert seamstress and her handiwork is seen on alters of
numerous Catholic Churches. She had been a member of St. Ann's Catholic
Church.
Surviving her besides her husband are four sons, Joseph, Steve, Ignatius and
Saverio, Jr., and four daughters, Santa Teriaca, Mrs. Grace Volpe, Margaret
and Mrs. Rose Lamontia.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Ann's Catholic Church.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Careno Funeral
