The allegati records in my experience have the same reference number as the marriage record. So, if you have a copy of the marriage certificate and it is number 156, then the allegatti should also be number 156. That might help a little in your search. I have a feeling that sometimes the original records may have become detached and separated from the original book, with the loose pages just shoved in a book in random order, and that is why they sometimes do not follow in date sequence on the microfilm; they got filmed however they were placed in the book. Just a guess, obviously, but it seems logical.
