Paul,
First, I wasn't worried about your database subscription. I knew that
you have your hands full with your parents.
I can understand the problems with your parents. I am going through it
for a second time. First time was with my ex's parents. Now with my
own. It is not easy seeing them deteriorate like this. And yet, in my
parents case, some of the problems could be prevented or at least kept
in bay for a long time. But they choose not to do as the drs order. My
dad has COPD, heart problems, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and
is diabetic. Mom has high blood pressure, diabetic (with shots),
severely overweight (more than 200 pounds over) and is on dialysis.
Neither will follow a diet that would be good for them. Mom has started
refusing to walk anywhere so of course, her legs get weaker,
etc............It is a never ending vicious circle with the 2 of them
and I get very discouraged at times. It is like I am the parent now
