I have been trying to connect to a family in New Orleans and have been in contact with a few of his decendants.  Everything we found on Vittorio and his brothers Saverio and Giuseppe shows they came from Palermo.  I knew they were related because my grandfather (Salvatore Tedesco) niece is 100 years old and she told me that she always saw Victor's son Ignatius when he would visit their home and he was related but I could not find out how.  Well, I was sent the marriage certificate for Vittorio M. Tedesco and Antonietta Safillippo in New Orleans in 1886....

Vittorio M. Tedesco, age 25, born in Palermo, Son of Ignazio Tedesco and Domenica Langusa and Antoinetta Sanfilippo, age 21, born in Palermo, daughter of Antoinetta Sanfilippo and Maria Spicuzza on 18 day of August, 1886.

I believe now that Vittorio is the son of Ignazio Tedesco and Domenica Ganguzza in my tree.  When I looked up Langusa in Yahoo search very little hits and the name basicly was from Africa.  I decided to update my tree on the Tedesco's and found  that there were some marriages in 1840's and 1850's but after about 1850 very few children were born and I find not too many deaths for the parents. Tom Corso's line went to Palermo so I believe many of the Tedesco's may have gone to Palermo also approximately 1850's.  I think my line stayed in Termini because my grandfather was born in 1872.

Just wanted to let you know if there seems to be no activity on some of the lines of your families (which I had noticed previously but didn't think much of it at the time) they may have moved somewhere else.
