Ann,
I'm actively researching Turturici in Trabia. I have several Trabia 
nascite films on permanent loan at the FHC and have filmed many of the 
indexes for the S & T surnames. You can email me offlist with names and 
birth years and I can look them up. I also have the late 1800s marriage 
film for Trabia on permanent loan. I haven't seen many Tortorete or 
Tortorici, but Trabia has TONS of Turturicis in the mid to late 1800s! 
I'm also researching Sunseri name in Trabia if anyone needs that one. My 
cousin in convinced we are related to the Sunseri family from 
Pennsylvania Macaroni, but so far I have found no connection to them 
back to the mid 1800s. Unfortunately, Trabia has missing years for 
documents (apparently destroyed by fire during the war), so it's missing 
a good chunk of the 1850s-1866.
Maybe someday I'll create a database for these Trabia indexes, but this 
research work has just made me appreciate Laura and all the Termini 
transcribers even more!!!!! It is a huge daunting task! Thanks to 
everyone who works on this!
