This morning I sent an email about Ustica and later on I received an email
from Helen Tedesco Barnett.  She being a Tedesco and also with ties to
Ustica and lives in the New Orleans area contacted me.  She is new to the
list.  She is a decendant of Saverio Tedesco born about 1812 TI and died
1904 New Orleans and Liboria D'Angelo born TI and died 1854 in TI.  Saverio
later married my ggrandmother Cosima Papania born 1833 TI and died 1913 New
Orleans. Her grandfather Giuseppe Tedesco born about 1849 and died 1915 in
New Orleans.  He married 1) Francesca Palmisano of Ustica  and 2)Marianna
Gumina of Ustica.  Guiseppe was my grandfather Salvatore's half brother. 
Also Marianna Gumina brother Antonino married Giuseppe's sister Maria
Tedesco Seminara in 1897 after Mariano Seminara died.  We are also connected
to the Gumina's in the Cristina family.    This was a very pleasant surprise
because we have quite a few family connections and she lives
 in New Orleans area.
