[TI] Providenza Quattrocchi

Laura,

I should have done more research before sending my previous message. I have 
since found an 1826 allegati matrimonio (and promessa) for Giuseppe 
Quattrocchi, son of Giuseppe Quattrocchi (decd) and Antonina LaNasa. Then to 
add to the confusion, in 1818 Josephe (same as Giuseppe?) Quattrocchi died, 
and his wife was Antonina LaNasa.

The question is, is there any way to determine if this is the same Antonina 
LaNasa in all these records? And are her husbands -- Josephe, Giuseppe, 
Filippo and Saverio -- all the same person? I assume that Josephe and 
Giuseppe are probably the same person, and I understand that men often used 
a different name from their birth name to avoid confusion with others of the 
same name. That might account for Filippo or Saverio, but both? I am still a 
newbie with Italian research, and am trying to get a handle on these 
records.
