I found a picture with a small write up when Giovan died in New Orleans in 1914.  Below is some information about him.  If you are connected let me know and I will send it to you.

Giovan Battista Raffaele Piraino born May 5, 1838 in Termini Imerese and died February 26, 1914 in New Orleans.  He was the son of Giuseppe Piraino born about 1793 and died April 8, 1873 in Termini Imerese.  Giuseppe married on September 13, 1833 Lucia Sansone  born about 1809 and died July 15, 1885 in Termini Imerese.  The Piraino's are connected to the Papania's.
