[TI] Thank you and meaning of a particular entry

Laura,

Thanks again for another update filled with a wealth of knowledge for 
everybody.  I have a quick question though on a particular entry. 
Vincentius Mirabella's father Vincentio who would have been my 3 great 
grandfather is listed as alias Caruccio.   Is that a birth surname?  Could 
he have been adopted.
