Laura, that would be wonderful! Our morman library was suppose to reopen after renovations? They were suppose to contact Sal Serio but not yet. Please let me know how much to send you for ordering it and any other charges.
Thank you much,
Larie

It would be nice if we could easily walk into a church in Termini and get those elusive documents. But that is NOT the case for records prior to 1820.
The Duomo is off-limits for research. We are in contact with someone who is a close friend of Father Anfuso and he has told us that Father Anfuso is still refusing to allow research to be done in those records nor is there an archivist to do the research for anyone.
BUT you do have another way of obtaining the document you request. It will be located in the allegati records for Saverio's grandson Michele Tedesco in 1852. I do not have the digitalized copy of that film yet but could order it for you when I go to the library next week do research on another project.

He was deceased before 1826 when his wife Gaetana Trentanella died and probably died before 1820. What church would she go to in Termini to get the certificate?
