No need to retract anything or start over.
Right click START
Click on EXPLORE
Look in C:\Program Files
In the right hand column (DATE column), you should see file dates for the
past few days. If you see very old dates, click the top and the latest
dates will be listed first.
Look in this list for Legacy7Setup.exe It will be 46 megs or so in size and
will be listed as an APPLICATION.
Double click the file and the installation will start. Follow the prompts.
The new program will ask you for a Gedcom file about half way through the
process so make sure you export one in advance from FTM.
If you don't see the Legacy7Setup file that means it was saved somewhere
else beside Program Files.
Look at C:\ for the file.
If you don't see anything like Legacy7Setup go back to START, right click
and select SEARCH.
In the file name box, type Legacy7Setup.ext
When the file is found, just double click and continue.
If none of the above happens, go back to the Legacy website and pick RUN
this time.
