Exactly. I bought Legacy 6.0 four years ago. When 7.0 was released
late in 2008, I didn't have to pay anything extra. It notifies you when
there is an update. If you download the free version, you don't pay
anything.
Now.........think of it this way...........
Legacy 1.0 was in 1997 = 7 versions total in 12 years
FTM was released in 1993 as a dos program. I started using it in 1995
at version 3.0 and there has been at least ONE new version per year ever
since, several years had 2 releases..........Version history.........1,
2, 3, 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 2005, 2005.5 (version 13),
2006 (version 14), 2006.5 (version 15), Version 16, 2008, 2009 and now
2010 - 21 releases in 16 years. Only 2006.5 and Version 16 were free
upgrades
