I agree with you on these items Laura.  I have used FTM since 1998 and it
has let me down a lot.  I use 2005 and find it is slowing me down as in
takes a long time to move to the next screen and I don't have anywhere near
the amount that Laura has in her files.  I like Legacy a lot.

I take exception as well.....It is MUCH easier to link, unlink, and 
merge in Legacy.  You can also UNDO what you did link or merge MUCH 
easier than in FTM.  It also has a much neater backup system that 
creates a unique backup each time you backup your system
