I thought I would post Father Pandolfo's obituary since he is from Italy and there is a lot of information about him and his family.

PANDOLFO Father Lawrence L. Pandolfo, O.P., a Dominican Friar of St. Martin de Porres Province, died at Our Lady of Wisdom Healthcare Center in New Orleans, Louisiana on Sunday, August 2, 2009 at the age of 92. He entered the Dominican Novitiate at San Domenico, Pistoia (Florence) Italy in 1934 and was ordained a priest in Rome, Italy on July 31, 1939. Father was a son of the Province of Rome, later assigned to St. Catherine of Siena Province in Italy, and transfiliated to St. Martin de Porres Province in 2003. Before coming to Louisiana, he ministered as a teacher and chaplain in Italy, Germany, South Dakota and Minnesota. In Louisiana, he ministered as Assistant Pastor at Mater Dolorosa Parish, Independence, LA, Pastor of Our Lady of Pompeii Parish, Tickfaw, LA from 1972 to 1988. In Jefferson, LA he ministered as chaplain at St. Jude Hospital, Kenner, LA, Elmwood Medical Center, Metropolitan Hospice, Elmwood Medical Rehabilitation Center, and Ville St.
 Marie. In June, 2009, he retired to Our Lady of Wisdom Healthcare Center. Father is survived by his sisters: Sister Germang, O.P., Rose Vericella, Rosalia Kesselring, Erminia Pandolfo, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, brother-in-law, great uncle, cousins, and many friends. His parents, Nicola and Anna Coiro Pandolfo, a sister, Sister Emilid, O.P. and four brothers: Joseph, Dominic. Antonio and Mario preceded him in death. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 4640 Canal Street, New Orleans, Louisiana at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 8, 2009 with visitation beginning at 9:00 A.M. The Office of the Dead will be prayed at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Friday, August 7, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. Interment will follow the Mass in the Dominican Friars Cemetery, Rosaryville, Ponchatoula, LA. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dominican Friars Retirement Fund, 1421 N. Causeway Blvd., Metairie 70001,
