Hi Laura,
When you get a chance would you run this reminder this weekend. I have
sent it but it is not making it to the list..... I have this set on TEXT
but still cannot explain why it doesn't appear.. Just want to get it out
there for those who might have missed the earlier announcement..
 Thanx so much, Jim

The planning continues for the 9^th Annual Termini Imerese Reunion in
Denver, Colorado this September 25 - 27, 2009.
We are looking forward to hosting this annual event designed to be a
gathering and sharing of information of those whose families came from
Sicily so many years ago.
At this time we are requesting a Show of Interest to help determine the
following for this years event:
 1. The number of individuals intending to travel to Denver, Colorado,
to attend this reunion.
 2. Those who will require lodging for this event.

1. IF you are sharing a room with another individual _you_ are
responsible for making those arrangements with the other person and it
should be reported as one room.
3. The number interested in a group meal on Saturday night.
4. Those who will be attending, but NOT requiring lodging, notify us
so
the meeting room/facilities can be properly sized.
 *****************
*Note: If you have already submitted your reservation you do not need to
resend your information. You are on the attendee list. *

To date we _have not_ selected the lodging location or restaurant for
the group meal. Your responses will help determine where these events
can be held at the best price available. This advanced information will
give us negotiating power.
With the economy as it is today, it is critical that you provide as
accurate information ahead of time as possible.
Please respond only if you have a _genuine interest in
attending=E2=80=A6 This will be essential in helping us keep the costs
as low as possible by negotiating the best rates in advance.
Finally, if there are any suggestions, (i.e., more social time on
Friday
night) also submit those with your show of interest response.
** To indicate that you are interested in attending, please respond by

Can anybody tell me with certainty how to correctly capitalize and space
names with prefixes, such as lo Bianco, or is it Lo Bianco, or is it
loBianco, or is it LoBianco? There are many other names including di
Novo, la Mantia, etc., and I just wanted to know what the proper way of
writing them is.

Thanks,
Terry

Good question. I have Librandi. Have seen it many ways but the
documents from the FHC have Librandi.

Terry

I record them exactly the way I see them on the document with the
exception that I put no space between the two parts so that the name is
indexed properly in the index

So loBello or LoBello is how it would appear in my files.

I hyphenate compound/dual surnames so that they index correctly as well

I am so sorry this has taken so long to fix. The problems from the
hackers extended even further than we thought it went. There are still
some minor problems that need to be corrected. Please be patient. We
are trying to get those corrected as quickly as possible

Thanks for the reply, but I have some names on original documents that
are capitalized, and some that are not for the same name.? I was hoping
there was a "proper" way to do it, and the recorders just did it
incorrectly, like we sometimes misspell names. I guess as long as I am
consistent in my records and don't put a space in between they will be
easier to organize.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Terry

As most of you are aware, the Termini Imerese website was attacked by
hackers. Luckily, we were able to save the majority of files from being
attacked but it caused some severe damage to portions of the website,
database, etc.

In the process of trying to restore the files to the server, it became
apparent that the subscriber database for the certificate database was
corrupted and we had to restore an earlier version. In doing so, some
subscribers were elimnated because they were not subscribed at that
point.

If you try to login to the database and cannot gain access, please
contact me by replying to this email and sending my the username and
password that you want to use. I will then check that your subscription
should still be active and add you back to the system
