[TI] upgrading software

I cannot talk about Vista, because I don't have it; rather I still have
Windows. I, however, did shift from the former Family Tree Maker to the
newest FTM.  There is a shift of base. [Records used to be saved as ".ftw";
now they get saved as ".ftm"] I had a problem with my brother-in-laws
uncle. Each time I opened the file the uncle was unrelated; I could correct
it, but not save the correction. An update came along and the uncle now is
always the uncle. So things are improving. Jim McCarthy, Somerville, MA,
