[TI] Salvator to George

Where did your great grandfather live? I noticed D'attilo on the birth records that I got from a genealogist. She was probably a neighbor in TI who reported the birth. The fact that Salvatore became George for one of your relatives and a lot of mine is not likely a happenstance.

My g-grandfather was born Salvator D'Attilo and is
listed as George in one census. Also had two
grandsons named George and one named Salvator.

What really confuses me is my g-grandmother who was
born named Diega Comella and shows up in one census
named Philomena! Otherwise she was known as Dagmer -
I have no idea where that name came from.
