Ann,
All I know about Rosalia Gelardi is that she was married to my great
great grandfather Pietro Francesco Iannarino. Her dates are 12 Sept
1826 to 17 June 1896. She had a bunch of children including my great
grandfather Saverio Agostino Iannarino. The children, in addition to
Saverio, are Lucia, Giuseppa, Concetta, Cosima and Liborio. I have the
marriages for all the children except Cosima. That is as far as I have
gotten.
Sure hope there is a connection here but the marriages so far do not
include Tortorici.
