Hi Ken, Yes, I had a wonderful visit with Ann. She is just a wonderful
person to visit with. She took me over to a religious book store in a
neighboring town and then we went to my son and daughter in law's convience
store in Renfrew, Pa. She has quite a bit of information to share and the
next time I go out there we will find time to go to the cemetary where the
Sicilians are buried.

Now, as far as the connection to the names, I don't have all of the names of
the brothers and sisters of the primary connections, but I will give you
what I do have. Believe me our relatives must have lived on the same
block--just kidding. I am the 4th greatgranddaughter of Camela Macaluso,
born in 1743. She was married to Andrea DiLiberto(Mro), born in 1743. They
were married in 1763. They had a daughter, Maria DiLiberto, born in 1768.
She was married to Andrea Sasone (Mro), in 1797. They had 3 children,
Teresa, born 1798, Giuseppe, born 1804 and Lucia, born 1807. Teresa was
marrried to Giuseppe Silvestri in 1819. Lucia was married to Giuseppe
Piraino (born 1796) September 15, 1833. Giuseppe Piraino's parents were
Giovan Battista Piraino and Domenica Caruso. Lucia Sansone and Giuseppe
Piraino had 8 children: (1) Dominica Antonia Piraino, married to Salvatore
Papania, (2) Carmela-a nun, (3) Giovanni, (4) Giovan Battista Mariano
Raffaele Piraino married to Francoise Melanie Talpan, (5) Maria Giuseppa
Piraino, (6) Marina (Mary) Piraino married to William DeFranchy, (7) Teresa
Ignazia Piraino, (8) Teresa Piraino married to Agostino Guarnera. Couple #8
were my great grandparents. They had 9 children, (1) Vincenzo Guarnera,
married to Teresa Forresti, (2) Vincenza, (3) Giuseppe Guarnera married to
Annie (Lina) Rocco, (4) Salvatore (Louis) Guarnera married to Rose Lino, (5)
Antonio Guarnera, (6) Vincenzina (Jenny) Guarnera married to Michael Mesi
(My grandparents) (7) Giovanni (John) married to Josephine Lazio, (8)
Ignazio (Frank) Guarnera married to Alice Kilroy and (9) Lucia Francesca
Paola Guarnera married to Charles Lazio Naso.

My Geraci connection is with a Leonardo--no dates, married to a Salvatora
Spagnolo. The only child I have listed for them is Maria Concetta Geraci,
who was married to my 1st cousin twice removed Giuseppe Guarnera.

So you see we do share the names, but just how they fit together, I am not
sure. Thanks for your input, Ken, you are a real asset to this site. Josie
