[TI] Family Tree Maker Question

I have 2005 and want very much to have the new version. However, I tried
the Beta version of 2008 and loved some of the features, but found it very
cumbersome to navigate. I am waiting till some of the problems can be
corrected.

no, it is NOT an upgrade of any previous version of Family Tree Maker.
It is a complete rewrite of the program that was written to work with
XP and Vista
