[TI] Other names for Herbert

I have some ancestors with the middle name  "Herbert".  I can not find
any very old ancestors with the name  "Herbert".  Does anyone know if
Italians had another name for  Herbert?  I am trying to find out where
the name "Herbert" first got  started in my line.
