Family Get-Together
Sicilians Visit with cousins in Muscatine
     Giuseppe Gaeta of Termini Imerese, Sicily, is visiting with his cousin, Louis Gaeta, 2003 Cedar, this week.  Translated from his native Italian, Mr. Gaeta gave as his reason for visiting America "I wanted to meet all my mother's and father's relatives."
     Mr. Gaeta arrived at Chicago July 11 and visited in that area with his mother's family.  He came to Muscatine with another cousin Ercol LaManna of Skokie and will be here this week.
     Giuseppe is a tax collector, or the equivalent of our country treasurer in his home town.  He is also in charge of the annual Mardi Gras Parade.
     He is taking many pictures of people he meets and places he visits to take back to his family in Sicily.
     To complete the family reunion at the Gaeta home is JoAnn Gaeta, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carmelo Gaeta, Long Beach, California.  JoAnn lived in Muscatine prior to moving to California eight years ago with her parents, but will make her home here again.  She will be a freshman at Muscatine college in the fall.
