[TI] Has anyone else run into the possibility of Michela beingtranslated/shorted to Katie?

Because 'Michela' is not used in the English speaking world, it can be
translated/shortened anyway one likes. Calling a person baptised as
'Michela' by the name Katie, is no stretch. Nonetheless 'Katie' is USUALLY
a nickname for Catherine. Michela and Catherine are not, however,
equivalents. Jim McCarthy, Somerville, MA
