I have an AT&T phone and just paid the 5.00/month International charge for
the time I was gone and was able to use it in Italy. There was a little
problem because someone stateside never set up the international calling but
once I got that straightened out, it worked fine. You have to have a
certain type of phone for it to work so check with your cell phone company.

Has anyone else rented or bought a cell phone for their trip to Italy?
CellularAbroad seems to have some interesting packages. Has anyone else
used them?
