[TI] Question

I talked to her daughter just now.  She was put in a
regular room about 4 days ago.  The way she explained
it to me, the fistule is a hole in her intestines. 
The incision she got with the surgery in Dec is still
open.  Part of her intestine is outside her body
covered with gauze.  The part with the fistule is
inside her body.  The fistula is getting bigger.  It
is oozing infection constantly.  They have a vacuum
hooked to it trying to get it all out.  She had a bad
day today, her daughter told me.

Rose has lost about 57 lbs.  She hasn't smoked in
about 6wks.  (I hope she stays non-smoking when she
gets out.)  She's walking around some every day.  But
she's still a very sick woman.

Keep those wonderful prayers for her recovery coming.

PS. So far, I have received cards for Rose from:
Sharon, Kim, Nell, Madeleine, Joe Mirabella, and
Larie.   If anyone else will be sending one to me for
Rose, please let me know ASAP.  I intend to mail these
to her on Saturday.
