Tip: When using the Naturalization Index do BOTH and do not use Pico. After
you have checked online, check the cards to naturalized voters. As a last
resort check the Great Lakes Naturalization Archives.

A friend just told me today that all of the cemetery records are also at
Fairview Park Library. I am really sorry now that I missed that.
Fairview Park Library would be at least 1/2 hour drive from Little Italy.
It is a suburb on the west side of Cleveland.
The Western Reserve Historical Society is near the campus of Western Reserve
University. That is on the east side of Cleveland. At least a half hour in
the other direction.
I also stopped at the Cleveland Archives on Franklin Blvd. They told me
that all of their records can be found via the internet and then ordered
except for the divorce records. I did find a divorce record from 1902 for
my family. If anyone is interested, I can relate the information I was
given by the Archives.

Hi Barbara,
The Cleveland City Directories would be a great resource for me to try to
find my lost Cleveland Scolaro's and Mascolino's. How far is it from the
hotel? I have no idea how to get around Cleveland. How about the location
for Western Reserve library. Thanks for the info.Gloria

I stopped at the Fairview Library on Lorain Ave. when I was in Cleveland
last week. It appears they have a large genealogy section and I was sorry I
only had an hour or so. I was told they have all of the Cleveland City
Directories on microfilm.

The Fairview Library has the largest genealogy section in Cleveland. It is
on the west side. The whole second floor is dedicated to genealogy also
there is th Western Reserve Historical Society with its library.

I just called the Cleveland Public Library and they referred to the Cuyahoga
public library 440-473-0350. The Cuyahoga Public library DOES NOT handle
FHC films. Referred to the FHC in Kirtland. So that is on the right track.
The Cuyahoga Public Library does subscribe to Ancestry.com. So people can
look up info there. Didn't ask about the usage or how that worked.

The is FHC in Kirtland. Don't know the hours you would have to look at the
website. Its about a 20 or 30 min drive from the hotel and it is the closes
one to Mayfield. I have never been there but it is in the country. Little
Italy is pretty safe. Your gonna be on Mayfield Rd which is a main road. It
is a cute little neighborhood filled with all kinds of stores and
restraurants.
