What a nice surprise...I too am waiting for Ken to roll through Elk
Grove Village sometime. I was hoping to see everyone at the Cleveland
reunion; I'll be in Termini visiting relatives. I'm really excited
about my upcoming trip; I really wish it wasn't at the same time of the
reunion. Hopefully I can make it to Colorado next year; the reunions
are really a lot of fun, if you haven't been to one.

Subject: [TI] Greetings from Ken Geraci
I received a phone call from Ken Geraci yesterday morning (Monday)
saying
that he had just dropped off a truck shipment here in Rochester, NY and
was
not going to be leaving town for at least several hours on his next
route.
He later found out that he would not have a new shipment until today, so
he
would be free for dinner and the two of us were able to get together for
a
great dinner on Monday night at an Italian Restaurant that I've been
wanting
to go to for a long time. We had a three-hour dinner and had a great
time
chatting about Termini and our genealogy and commenting on what a great
group our Termini Mailing List is. Ken is looking great and sends his
regards to everyone on the List. I've been very busy at work lately and
have barely had time to read e-mails, so it was great that I happen to
be
free on Monday night and that we were able to get together. I hadn't
seen
Ken since our Salt Lake Reunion although he and I spoke several times
last
year just before the Rochester Reunion as he tried to unsuccessfully
arrange
a way to come to last years get-together. It certainly is nice to see
people from the List from time to time as they come through Rochester.
My
cousin, Tony Rini, came through Rochester a few years ago and he and I
were
able to meet for the first time for a quick breakfast and had a very
nice
time. It is still amazing to me that my grandparents home town serves
as a
point of connection to so many people on this List 100 years after they
left
Termini!
Ken is planning and hoping to be at the Cleveland Reunion and I am
looking
forward to seeing everyone at the Cleveland Reunion in just seven
weeks!!!
(I've got to get my reservations in).
