Larie, at one time Pittsburgh was where the 3 rivers met, across from the
city of Allegheny.
In 1907 they took over Allegheny. Allegheny was the North Side, where I
live, so they call it Old Allegheny. Now it is quite historical. This is
where Andrew Carnegie came from. This is where the 2 stadiums are. The new
casino they are building I am sure takes in where the front of our house
was. (the parking lot). I live further out now.
