Ann,
I found a couple of death notices for Mariano. There are quite a few LINES which I cannot read and I replaced with question marks. There are many articles for Mariano Longo but quite a few are after he died. This should be the Mariano that I sent the article.
Where is old Allegheny? I heard the name but that is all.

Mariano Longo, Utica Fruit Dealer, Dies; Was Ill for a Month
Mariano Longo ??????most of his live died at his home ???? St. Mary Street, ? Feburary ?, 1937 after a month's (2 full lines unreadable). Termini Imerese, Sicily, Italy ??????. He came to this country when he was 13 and located in Pittsburg where he went into the fruit business. He moved to Utica 17 years ago and became associated with his ?? in the banana trade.
Mariano Longo was a member of St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church. He married Maria Candioto in Sicily and they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary last year.
Besides his wife he leaves two sons Frank and Marino Longo and a daughter, Mrs. Anna Arrigo, all of this city. He also leaves 14 grandchildren; also a sister, Mrs. Maria Cherro Siragusa?.
He was chiefly devoted to his buisness and to quiet marks of charity.

Funeral of Mr. Longo
The funeral of Mariano Longo was conducted this morning from the residence of his son, Frank Longo, 613 Mary Street and at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church.
A solumn requium high mass was celebrated by the Rev. William Pizzogilo as celebrant, assisted by Rev. Salvino Zanonas? as deacon. The berers were Salvatore Geraca, Joseph Passafiume, Pasquale Domenico, Nicholas Domenico, Joseph Gatto and Frank R. Inserra.
Interment was in the family ploy in St. Agnes Cemetery were Father Pizzoglio pronounced final absolution at the grave.

We had Longo's in Old Allegheny. Went to Pittsburgh in 1907. I was from Old
Allegheny.
