Palazzo Adriano

The center of the town, which spreads out like the spokes of a wheel, is Piazza Umberto I, still also called Piazza Grande ("the Big Square"); in the middle is an octagonal fountain (1600) and around it are Palazzo Dava (now Town Hall), Palazzo Mancuso and the two main churches: Santa Maria Assunta, which observes the Greek rite and dates from the 15-17C and the Santa Maria del Lume, which observes the Latin rite.
